Grape: Kerner 100%
Yearly production: 20000 bottles.
Colour: Bright straw yellow.
Aroma: Deep and mineral, with hints of herbs, stone fruit, hay, and citrus.
Taste: Solid structure and great persistence, juicy and slightly savory, clean and dry.
Behind the label: There’s been always a close connection between art and wine. In Manni Nössing label this connection is represented by the paint Diptychon II from Robert Pan.
Producer: Descended from a family of farmers, Manfred ‘Manni' Nössing started by selling the fruit from his own vines to the famous nearby co-op Abbazia di Novacella and in 2000 he decided to bottle under his own label and produced his very first vintage. The winery is tiny, with only 5 hectares of vines located in Bressanone at altitudes of 650 to 800 meters and planted to Kerner, Grüner Veltliner, Müller Thurgau, Riesling, and Sylvaner.Classy wines with exceptional finesse, minerality, and complexity which show the very best of the local grape varieties.
