Behind the label: The vineyard lay around an ancient farmhouse where a “Commenda” and a “Hospitale” stood in the Middle Age, built by Templar Knights and used by pilgrim during their journey to the Holy Land.
Producer: Marengo’s family origin lie in Piedmont from the father’s side which come from the commune of La Morra, and has been producing Barolo for more than a century.Besides the Piedmont wines the Marengo's family owned as well several wineyards in Tuscany from where they used to produce quality and outstanding Chianti and Supertuscan.
