Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.
Yearly production: 5328 bottles.
Colour: Intense dark ruby red.
Aroma: Pretty complex bouquet with intense aromas of plum and black cherries. A hint of green pepper, vanilla, and black pepper to complete the aromas.
Taste: Full body, intense and smooth with a very long finish.
Behind the label: The label draw is the artwork of a famous American Artist while the name Duemilaundici (2011) refers to the vintage which for the once called “table wine” cannot be written on the label by law.
Producer: Cà del Vént is a small, independent, artisanal, family-owned, boutique winery set in Cellatica at the eastern border of Franciacorta, Lombardy - Italy. The estate covers only 6 hectares and the vineyards enjoy a west-facing position on top of the Campiani hills (350/400m a.s.l.) with quite steep slopes, a unique windy and dry microclimate (the name Cà del Vént means the “house of wind”). The reduced 1kg per vine production guaranteed outstanding quality and perfectly healthy grapes.
