Farming: Classic.

Colour: Incredibly intense ruby-red.

Aroma: Very complex with intense red berries fragrance where notes of cherry and plum stand out. Soft hints of spices, coffee, tobacco, and chocolate amplify the feelings.

Taste: Medium body, very persistent with sweet and soft tannins.

Behind the label: Arpagone's name refers to the main character of "the Miser" novel of Molière because when the vineyard was bought, it was arid and miser like him.

The Arpagone denomination is now Toscana I.G.T.. However, the 2015 Magnum is D.O.C.G. still.

Little gem!

If you want a wine full of flavour and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg this wine hits all the right notes. A great Super Tuscan!!
