Aroma: Very intense and fresh, with notes of red fruit and black pepper.
Taste: Medium body with soft tannins and an enjoyable finish.
Behind the label: Born in the Languedoc in 1855, Alicante Bouschet made many local winemakers’ fortunes. It was used to colour local and foreign bad wines.
Yet, trained in traditional goblet on the right terroir, it gives lovely fruit aromas with a hint of spices.
