Behind the label: Armire’ in Piedmont dialect means “weapon maker” which was the job of Marengo's family in the 19th century.
Producer: Marengo’s family origin lies in Piedmont from the father’s side which comes from the commune of La Morra, and has been producing Barolo for more than a century.
The wines are produced through a collaboration between owner Emilio Marengo with his friend Roberto Voerzio, who keeps aside a small space for him in his wonderful cellar.
Production levels sit at an average of fewer than 500 grams per vine, and this means an outstanding quality with concentrations of flavor and taste.
