Behind the label: The name Piede Rosso (Red Foot) was chosen when the owner’s little daughter left red footsteps after walking on some wine spilt on the floor.
Producer: Prato al Pozzo is located in Cinigiano, in the heart of the Montecucco denomination, north east of Maremma wine region.
Owner Francesca took over the property in 2003 to realise her life’s dream of living immersed in nature and making great quality wines.
The company owns about 11 hectares of which 1,5 are planted with vines and the rest with olive groves and grains.
