Behind the label: "il Mandolo" is the name Cantina del Glicine's owners have given to the wine Arneis.

They would have liked to call it "Mandorlo" (almond) because they wanted to remember an ancient almond tree that their grandparents had planted in the vineyard, but another winery already registered this name.

So then they called him "Mandolo", which reminded them of that tree equally.
