Pinot Nero... Not as you know it.

This is a Pinot Noir, but not as we know it. The over-ripeness of the grapes give you an intense wine with a rich, voluptuous and enticing body. The nose is full of ripe plums, elderberry, maraschino cherries, woody and slightly balsamic notes, almost anise seed.
In the mouth, tannins are there but very polished and soft, coating your mouth nicely.
Dark berries, prunes more than plums in the mouth, elderberry jam, and just a touch of greenness to lift the richness.
Finish is very long with a slightly spicy note coming through. Beautiful!
